What we do

We prepare the whole application, submit it, and manage every request for information until LegitScript issues a decision. The work is preparation and advocacy; the decision is LegitScript's.

A LegitScript application is not a form. It is a disclosure exercise in which a reviewer compares what you say about your business against what your website, your pharmacy partner, your provider network and your corporate records actually show. Applications fail on inconsistency far more often than on anything disqualifying.

So the work is:

  • Reconciling the record. Legal entity, ownership, domains, prescribing model and fulfilment, stated the same way everywhere a reviewer will look.
  • Auditing the claims. Every sentence on the site that describes a compounded product, an outcome, or an approval status.
  • Answering fast. A request for information answered the same day rather than next fortnight is the single biggest thing an applicant controls.

Why claims language decides these applications

The wording that draws FDA warning letters is the same wording that stalls a certification review: describing a compounded drug as FDA-approved, equating it with the brand-name product, or promising results the compounded product was never reviewed for.

Compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide are not FDA-approved products. They have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality, and nothing on a website may imply otherwise.

This is not a theoretical risk. We maintain a verified index of every FDA warning letter issued to telehealth and compounding companies over compounded GLP-1 marketing, taken row by row from the letters themselves. Each row is coded by the violations that letter cites, and what they turn on is the wording used to describe the product.

A site can be operationally sound (licensed prescribers, a registered pharmacy partner, real clinical oversight) and still fail on the sentence under the product photograph. That sentence is part of the application.

What LegitScript charges on top

LegitScript's own fees are charged per website and are separate from any service fee. Our price is all-in, so these are covered rather than billed to you later.

There are two invoices in an ordinary certification: ours, and LegitScript's. What "all-in" means here is that you only ever see the first one. The application fee, the annual certification fee on approval and expedited processing where it is worth buying are all covered by the price published on our home page for a single website.

Certifying more than one website changes the arithmetic, because LegitScript bills per website rather than per company. Bring the list of domains to the call and the quote accounts for it up front, rather than arriving as a surprise once the application is already open.

Do you guarantee I will be certified?

No, and nobody honestly can. LegitScript decides every application. What we commit to is the part we control: a complete application prepared and submitted in under two weeks, and requests for information answered the day they arrive. Those two weeks are our preparation clock, not LegitScript's review clock. Decisions on applications we filed have come back in as little as 3 days, but that pace is LegitScript's to set, not ours to promise.

Which categories do you work in?

The high-scrutiny ones, deliberately: GLP-1 weight management including compounded semaglutide and tirzepatide, ED, peptides, ivermectin, and adjacent telehealth models.

Is your price really all-in?

Yes. One published price covers our work, the application fee, the annual certification fee on approval and expedited processing where it is worth buying, for a single website. Certifying several websites costs more because LegitScript bills per website, and that is quoted up front rather than discovered later.

What happens if LegitScript comes back with questions?

That is normal and expected. We handle requests for information as part of the engagement and stay on the file until a decision is issued.
